Pray: Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you up and help you translate the word. Ask God for discernment to understand His words and willingness to hear what He has to say to you. Thank God for His word and the time He has given you to spend with Him.

Read: Proverbs 8; Colossians 1:15-17; Colossians 2:2-3; Revelation 3:14

Ask: What is the purpose of this Proverb? How does this compare to other women in Proverbs, such as the woman in chapter 7? How do the verses from Colossians and Revelation relate to this passage? Where do you see Jesus in this chapter? What is God trying to teach you?

Apply: Be intentional in your time with God. We live in a fast-paced world, but God wants us to slow down with Him and take in His presence. Be slow to speak when you are learning from God, and be ready to listen and take in the wisdom He has to offer.
