Pray: Ask God to starve you and give you a craving for scripture. Ask Him to open up your heart and mind to receive His instruction. Pray that He reveals Himself through this passage.

Read: Proverbs 3; James 1:19-24; Matthew 11:29-30; Psalm 23;

Ask: What is the purpose of this proverb? How do these passages relate? How can you change your thinking so that you step away from your understanding and step into fully trusting God? Does the way you interact/ treat others reflect Jesus by blessing each person you interact with?

Apply: Start to lean into where God is calling you and trust that He will provide–choose meekness, humility, and wisdom over riches that will perish with the world. Intentionally act in a way that allows Jesus to shine through you and be the salt and light of the world.
