Pray: Thank God for the gift of His word. Then, ask God to help you understand the word and to memorize it. Ask Him to bless your time together and reveal to you what message he is trying to portray through Solomon.


Read: Read Proverbs 1; Deuteronomy 10:12


Ask: What is the purpose of this proverb? How can you avoid the temptation of those who try to entice you in verses 10-19? What does it look like to hate knowledge? What does it look like to love wisdom?


Apply: Ask God to lead you in the path of righteousness towards wisdom, discernment, and knowledge. Be aware of your thoughts, words, and actions. When thinking, saying, or doing something, ask yourself if you’re answering wisdom's call or eating from the fruit of your way.
